Hello and welcome!

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). I am also a member of the Latin American Studies Program and affiliate faculty in the School of Data Science at the same university.

I work in the fields of comparative politics, political psychology, and research methods. My research focuses on voting behavior, opinions about gender and politics, and political information. Also, I study these phenomena from a comparative perspective, with a special focus on Brazil and Latin America. As part of my research, I have collected experimental and survey data in Brazil, Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and United States. I also utilize other available comparative survey data from more than 100 countries in my research.
